The New Inn Motel

The New Inn Motel is situated in Huby, York, in the heart of Herriot Country. The owners of the Motel Paul & Carolyn, always love to offer a warm welcome to Yorkshire for every guest attending. It is a family-owned property in which provides a fabulous self-contained En-suite accommodation in the lovely village of Huby. The property is less than 10 miles from the City of York, making it the ideal location to tour Herriot Country and discover what the Yorkshire Dales and the Moors has to offer. 

Visitors get a choice of eight well-furnished chalets for their stay at the motel, in which all have ground floor access with their own front doors for easy access. All guests are given their own set of keys which allows them to gain entry at any time during the day or night. Each of these chalets have superb En-suite facilities, central heating, television and a complimentary selection of hot beverage to give a home-to-home feeling for the guests needs. 

In the village of Huby visitors will never run out of things to see and places to visit, such as golfing, cycling and walking routes. In easy reach to the Motel are a range of local restaurants, such as a fantastic Cantonese Restaurant called ‘The New Inn’ and a relaxing pub called ‘The Mended Drum.’ The Motel is also very close to Easingwold where there is a variety of cafes, delicatessens and other local shops. 

The New Inn Motel is only a 20-minute drive to the Historic Thirsk Town Centre where guests making their stay here can visit if they want to tour more of Herriot Country. With this Town being a popular destination for tourists there is a huge museum which is a can’t miss, called The World of James Herriot where people can learn all about the history of Herriot Country and Sir Alfred Wight himself.
