They are situated in a fantastic scenic setting with a variety of wonderful walking trails and a chance to meet some of the rare breeds/animals kept at the farm. It is only 6 miles from Thirsk making it within an easy reach of places like Helmsley, York, Scarborough and much more.
The Farm is made up of two separate self-catering holiday cottage units, which both individually cater for two adults looking to share a cottage. The Briar and Bramble Cottages are adjacent to each other, making it easy for larger parties to enjoy each other’s companies which are looking to book both cottages at the same time.
Visitors will always receive a warm welcome to Rose Cottage Farm where off-road parking is provided if necessary. As well as a shared patio area and secluded lawn perfect for families looking for a relaxed holiday spot. Briar Cottage is one bedroomed, providing a cosy home-to-home feeling in which the kitchen has just been refurbished in. It has a delightful view from the lounge that overlooks the patio to see the countryside.
The Bramble Cottage is also one bedroomed, that provides again a relaxing space for families looking for a great staycation away. It has an open plan lounge/dining area with a fully fitted kitchen and again from the lounge there is a panoramic view of the Vale of York to the Pennines.
With Rose Cottage Farm only being a short drive from the Historic market town of Thirsk, Customers can also visit this amazing town and see the local shops or attractions within it. One of them being the massive museum ‘The World of James Herriot’ in which you can learn all about Sir Alfred Wight and his fantastic achievements.
