Inspired Chocolate in Leyburn is something special in Herriot Country that makes high quality artisanal chocolates in a purpose-built chocolate factory. A family business with core values of quality, customer service, ethical practices and environmental responsibilities, Inspired Chocolate uses fine Belgian couverture, palm oil free chocolate and with Yorkshire craftmanship produces delicious and beautiful chocolates.

The chocolates can be purchased online, from selected stockists or direct from the factory and you can have orders delivered to friends or loved ones with a special gift message on an attractive card, which is ideal for special occasions, anniversaries, birthdays, wedding and anniversaries.

Comfortably accommodating 24 participants, Chocolate Making Workshops are perfect for Chocolate Parties, Truffle Making and Chocolate themed events or meetings! The Inspired Chocolate Workshop is a dedicated space for messing about with Chocolate and our café area can be used for larger groups. We can also cater for a wide range of chocolate themed parties, be it a, hen do, birthday party or even just a social get together. Your party can include chocolate making, buffet food, a chocolate fountain, even a bubble machine!

We hand bake all of our delicious cakes and scones, why not try one of our special cheese cakes where even the bowl is edible! We are careful not to do anything that might spoil the gorgeous chocolate smell inside Chocolate House, but we do offer a range of savoury light bites including paninis, toasties and hummous. We also offer a children’s meal deal. Take away drinks are also catered for should you just be looking for a convenient place to stop and pick one up. We can even package up our food and cakes. Our cakes can also be made to order and personalised.Italian Lavazza barista coffee is served in the cafe and also includes a range of Mad Hatter specialist teas, hot chocolate (of course) and it’s a welcome space to enjoy that brew whilst choosing your favourite takeaway chocolate individually designed gift.

Chocolaty pleasure for business is also available. Fitted with a projector, TV and configurable tables and chairs, your event requirements can be accommodated and food and refreshments can be provided. Private events can be held on weekdays, evenings and on some weekends. Chocolate courses are available and there’s training for more serious chocolate aficionados, as well as chocolate making for fun, a talk on chocolate or a demo.
