Harewood House

Harewood house is situated in the heart of Yorkshire and is a delight to visit In Herriot Country. This is a big history house with a day fulfilled with activities. The House was built back in the 18th century where it has collected all the arts that rival even the finest places in Britain.

Visitors can purchase a membership for Harewood House to see every exhibition containing contemporary art, a rare Bird Garden throughout the day, A countryside Farm Experience and even over 100 acres of fabulous gardens that are there to explore. The house will keep every guest on their toes wanting to see more after the first visit.

The House is cared for by a great team that are passionate about keeping the history alive as well as giving the visitors the best experience possible. They run a volunteer-led complimentary shuttle service for those with reduced mobility access that can take you from the main entrance to the House, courtyard, bird garden and the Church.

On campus of Harewood House it is dog friendly with an exception to the Bird Garden and Farm Experience. There is a relaxing café to sit in and enjoy a hot drink after a long day of walking or even take the kids out to the adventure playground to keep them busy. Also, on-site is a book shop if visitors have an interest in reading.

With the House being relatively close to Leeds guests can choose whether they would like to go see the huge Leeds Town after a day out at Harewood House as you will never be left without anything to do if you visit a town like Leeds.
