It blends in with the amazing Georgian architecture, stylish artwork and the luxury facilities it provides, which have been restored recently to respect the buildings of rich heritage whilst keeping high standards for the needs of its guests.
The reincarnation gives you the opportunity to relax and enjoy an urban oasis including 9 guest rooms, 2 suites, the Old Coach Lounge, Georgian Dining Room, cosy bar and a private peaceful terraced garden out the back. With this restaurant being situated in Richmond they like to offer high-end dining whilst keeping to a quiet manner.
Over the past 14 years The Frenchgate has worked incredibly hard to continue with its assessments and go for many accolades. Growing up from a 2-star hotel into what is now a 4-star hotel they have progressed in a great speed and even the famous restaurant has been awarded 2 Rosettes for the fantastic efforts.
The Frenchgate is definitely one James Herriot would have chosen to stay in on his travels…
