Coachman’s Loft

Coachman’s Loft is a first-floor conversion of a stone barn into a Holiday Cottage, built over 250 years ago. It is located just off the main street in the heart of West Witton, in Herriot Country.

It is a Visit England Four Star Holiday Cottage in which it contains a big double bedroom with a king-sized bed, a cosy living area including a kitchen and dining area, and a shower room. Parking is easy access to visitors on the adjacent road off the main high street.

This Holiday Cottage is based within the owners’ property which guests enter from the tidy garden and patio area. There is plenty of space for a BBQ on a warm summer evening and a lot of area fit for a family.

With the Cottage being recently renovated and decorated throughout, this barn conversion offers a fantastic property with high-quality furnishings and home-from-home facilities. All visitors won’t have to worry about staying here during the cold seasons as they provide heating throughout all rooms by thermostatically controlled electric storage heaters.

The village of West Witton owns an excellent pub and the award-winning Wensleydale Heifer, the AA restaurant of the year in 2007 and 2008. The village also provides a post office/shop with other facilities closer to the busy market town of Leyburn.
