Clyde House

Clyde House is an 18th Century guest house located in Leyburn, Herriot Country. This guest house was built back in the 1750s and though it has been refurbished to provide modern comforts, it still manages to keep its original features and its history. 

This 4-star B&B is one of the many James Herriot could have passed on his travels through Herriot Country. It provides guests with a full Yorkshire/Continental breakfast each morning in their dining room with a menu to suit every individual preference. 

All its rooms are well furnished to provide a home-from-home feel, containing en suite shower rooms, flat screen TVs, tea and coffee-making facilities and much more. The owners, Mr & Mrs John Flynn, are always on hand to greet the visitors at Clyde House and are there to help the guests have the most enjoyable staycation. 

Leyburn is just a few miles from the Yorkshire Dales National Park and is a great starting point for visitors of Herriot Country to begin a fantastic holiday. With some of the finest scenery in the country and plenty of things to see and do, you’ll never find yourself without plans when staying at this Guest House.
