Moorside Farm Holiday Cottage is the kind of place that James Herriot would visit on his rounds as a country vet in North Yorkshire. In the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and having undergone major high-quality renovations, this lovely holiday cottage is perfect for a holiday or break in Herriot Country.
It’s an un-spoilt place suitable for friends, family gatherings and couples and is a ‘home-from-home’ that makes a really comfortable base for visiting Herriot Country and close to Grassington where Channel 5’s remake of All Creatures Great and Small has been filmed.
There are four bedrooms, sleeping up to eight guests, all beautifully appointed and with Freeview TV and Free Wi-fi throughout. A comfy lounge with log burning stove, a well-appointed kitchen with Range cooker with double oven and electric induction hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and dishwasher. Dog washing facilities outside and where there is parking for up to two cars.
Surrounded by 28 acres of land, Moorside Farm Holiday Cottage is managed by Claire and Jason whose family first farmed here in 1970 until 2013 and retains many of its traditional characteristics.
