In the heart of Herriot Country, Kettlewell Camping is situated in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Right on the edge of Kettlewell Village is the fabulous views across the Upper Wharfedale valley. With it being in a secluded area visitors can park their car and enjoy all the surroundings being only a short walk away.
Kettlewell Camping is a family run company of three generations. They aim to give guests to the campsite the best experience possible in the countryside and make it as relaxing as possible. Kettlewell Village is a small local village only 14 miles from Skipton. It contains three family friendly pubs, a traditional Yorkshire store, tasting deli, bistro, a children’s play park, an ice cream parlour and much more that the Dales has to offer.
The new facilities are proving to be very popular to tourists, especially with the under-floor heating they provide in the showers and the free hot water supply produced by their wood pellet boiler. Visitors can go into a separate room to wash their pots and a family/disabled room for those with reduced mobility access.
The campsite is only 10 metres from the famous Dales Way and there are many more scenic walks from the village for all abilities. You will just have to keep holidaying here to experience them all. The business is dog friendly and welcome’s all big and small as long as they are always cleaned up after and on a lead.
