Greystone Farm is in a secluded but peaceful area on the western side of the North York Moors National Park, in-between Thirsk and Northallerton. This farm is home to many views of the Yorkshire Dales & Pennines as it is just 2 miles from the A19 dual carriageway giving guests easy access to the rest of Herriot Country’s attractions.
The Farm provides a comfortable bed & breakfast experience for all visitors wanting to get a feel of what the countryside is really like. The family run business has made this their own home for over 40 years now, giving the customers a chance to see their award-winning Pedigree Suffolk Sheep during the summer season.
They provide all visitors with the same comfortable environment, where they can entertain themselves with the attractions surrounding them just like James Herriot did. With Greystone Farm welcoming walkers, cyclists, horses and children there is always activities around to get your feet dirty. Whether it be using the many cycling routes in proximity, or the country paths only a short distance from the Cleveland Way and Lyke Wake Walks.
Greystone Farm also offers a substantial breakfast every morning using their own local produce wherever possible. Accompanied with the breakfast, visitors can also get a taste for the Farms own delightful home-made bread and cakes.
With Greystone Farm you would be looking to get a feel of the areas James Herriot used to live in and how he experienced the countryside.
