Minnies Cottage is a Grade II listed cottage built in 1834 with fabulous inglenook fireplace that has stunning views of Wensleydale and is located next to the ancient church at Askrigg. It is quaint and quirky and has beamed ceilings, original plank doors and snecks (the local name for door latches), deep set windows and stone shelves. It has a king-sized bedroom with separate dressing room and with its special atmosphere is perfect for a romantic break for two.
Urlay Nook has a south facing garden and is the only VisitBritain five-star award cottage in Askrigg. It sleeps four in space and comfort with two bathrooms. Filled with light, Urlay Nook has 20 windows and four outside doors! The interior is full of unique features including a bread oven, window seats, beams and has thick stone walls. Decoration is with Farrow and Ball and the Lite Greene Paint Company and there is a neat and interesting mix of new an antique furniture.
